However, in the modern world, market forces of supply and demand play a determining factor in the high rise buildings that go up today. The same principle can be said to still hold true today. Throughout history, high rise structures have been built to demonstrate religious, political and economic power. Why Build High Rise Buildings and Skyscrapers?
